Unlocking Health, Happiness, and Academic Success for Every Child
Physical education is more than just a class - it's the cornerstone of lifelong wellness, nurturing healthy bodies, resilient minds, and strong social connections. Through PE, children gain essential motor skills, improve cardiovascular health, and build stronger muscles and bones. Just as importantly, PE fosters teamwork, cooperation, and interpersonal communication, encouraging friendships and developing confidence. Emotionally, regular movement releases endorphins, eases stress, and delivers a real sense of achievement, helping children face both setbacks and successes with greater resilience.
Today’s children face new and growing challenges - rising obesity rates, mental health struggles, and
higher absenteeism. At the heart of these issues is a simple, proven remedy: daily physical activity.
The Benchmark: 60 Active Minutes a Day
The UK Chief Medical Officer recommends that every child and young person should complete at
least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day. This recommendation is more
than just advice - it's a powerful tool for better physical health, sharper focus, and improved wellbeing.
How Our Service Makes a Difference
Boosts Daily Activity
Our sessions help children achieve the recommended 60 minutes of daily activity through engaging, enjoyable movement.
Supports Mental Health
Youth Sport Trust research shows a direct connection between physical activity and better mental health, with fewer symptoms of anxiety and depression in children.
Improves Attendance
Schools partnered with the Association for PE have found that children who take part in regular physical activity attend more often and are more engaged in their studies.
Fights Childhood Obesity
With over 1 in 5 children in Year 6 classified as obese (NHS statistics), our programme is a vital way to help children maintain a healthy weight through fun movement.
Promotes Academic Achievement
The Association for PE notes that active children tend to perform better academically, with improved concentration and classroom behaviour.
Key Statistics
Only 44.6% of children in England reach the recommended 60 active minutes per day (Youth Sport Trust, 2023)
Over a quarter of 10 - 11 year olds are overweight or obese (NHS Digital/Association for PE)
One in six children aged 5 - 16 had a probable mental health disorder in 2021 (NHS Digital)
Schools with active students record up to 20% fewer lost days due to illness or disengagement (Youth Sport Trust).
Together, Creating Brighter Tomorrows
Our mission is to help every child flourish - physically, socially, and emotionally. By making movement fun and accessible, we build environments where children grow stronger, more resilient, and form healthy habits that last a lifetime.
